Dear Patient,
It is November and
Thanksgiving is just
around the corner.
This is the time of
year that our lives
become hectic with
end-of-the-year to
do lists, shopping,
traveling, and
get-togethers with
family and friends.
But sometimes, all
that hustle and
bustle makes us lose
perspective of what
each holiday truly
represents and the
true meaning behind
why we celebrate.
The Webster
Dictionary defines
Thanksgiving as (1)
a formal public
expression of thanks
to God and (2) the
act of rending
thanks or expressing
gratitude for favors
or mercies.
In these times, it
may seem like there
is not much to be
thankful for but if
we take the time to
sit back and look at
all that is around
us; family, friends,
our health, the roof
over our heads, the
food that nourishes
our bodies, the air
we breath- we will
find that we have so
much to be thankful
for.
We want to take this
time to thank you
for being such
faithful patients.
It is a blessing and
privilege to be able
to provide dental
services for you as
well as be a part of
your everyday
lives. We feel like
each of you are a
part of our family
and we are thankful
for the
relationships we are
able to build with
you.
We wish you and
your family a
happy and
healthy holiday
season!
Happy
Thanksgiving!

Make Good Use of
Your Insurance
Benefits
|
Can
you believe 2010 is
drawing to a close?
Last year we
couldn't fathom
writing '10 as the
year and now it will
be an '11! With the
new year upon us, it
is important we make
sure we have made
good use of our
insurance benefits.
Most dental plans
have a set dollar
amount to be paid
out each year. Any
benefits not
utilized by the end
of the plan year are
lost. If you have
dental treatment
that you have been
postponing,
including routine
preventive
treatment, please
call our office as
soon as possible to
make an appointment,
before your benefits
expire.
Sometimes it is
possible to complete
dental treatment in
phases. Depending on
individual needs,
careful planning to
maximize your
benefits remaining
for 2010 while doing
the remainder of
treatment the
beginning of 2011
can provide you with
more reimbursement
than waiting to do
all treatment in
2011.
Other factors such
as deductibles,
covered cleanings
that you have not
used, etc. could
result in your
losing benefits
which you have
already paid for.
Don't let your
unused benefits
expire! Contact our
office as soon as
possible to reserve
time for you or any
family members
needing treatment.
If you have any
questions concerning
your remaining
dental treatment or
benefits, please
feel free to contact
us. We will be happy
to assist you. |
Scheduling to Your
Benefit
|
Scheduled
appointments are
what keep our staff
on track and on
time. When a
patient reschedules
or is not on time,
it can throw
everything off track
and in turn, it
effects other
patients in the
practice. We want
to offer some
helpful tips so we
all get in and out
on time.
-
At your periodic
cleaning
appointments,
you are given
your next
appointment
date. This may
be 3, 4 or 6
months out. Add
this appointment
to your calendar
as soon as
possible so you
will be sure to
schedule
accordingly once
that time comes
around.
-
Once you receive
the Reminder
Postcard in the
mail, please
call our office
to confirm your
appointment.
-
If you find that
you need to
reschedule your
appointment,
please let us
know as soon as
possible so we
can be sure to
give our
patients that
are on the
waiting list
enough lead-time
to fill in the
appointment.
-
Please be on
time. If one
patient is late,
it can create a
domino effect
for the rest of
the day. We
understand that
there are
circumstances
that are not
always in our
control. If you
know you are
running late,
please call our
office to let us
know so we can
adjust our
schedule as
needed.
-
If you are a
patient that can
only do
appointments on
a certain day or
time, be sure to
let our staff
know so we can
find the best
time to fit your
schedule.
**Holiday breaks
are coming up so if
you are a college
student, have a
college student or
may be a teacher and
need an appointment
during the break,
please call our
office and let us
know what dates you
need and we will do
our best to
accommodate you. We
have added days to
our schedule this
year and will be
open through
December 21, 2010.** |
