Regain
Your Confidence with Implant
Dentistry
Implant dentistry is the
best thing that has
happened to dentistry.
Implants replace missing
teeth, give
functionality, restore
your smile and create
opportunity. All in
all, they reconnect
people with something
they have lost: Self
Confidence. If you have
lost that self
confidence, implant
dentistry can help you
regain that feeling
back, restoring your
quality of life.
Dental implants are
artificial root
replacements for missing
teeth and are used to
support restorations
that resemble a tooth or
group of teeth. For
years, the only
solutions to missing
teeth were bridges,
removable partials or
full dentures. Dental
implants provide
distinct advantages over
the traditional methods
of replacing missing
teeth. Implants
- Restore proper
chewing function
allowing you to
enjoy foods that
were previously too
difficult to eat
- Look, feel and
function like
natural teeth
- Help to prevent
progressive bone
loss and
diminishment of the
jawbone by
"mimicking" the
roots of natural
teeth
- Offer a
permanent solution
to tooth loss and
may be used in
conjunction with
other restorative
procedures
- Improve your
speech that may be
lost with partial or
full dentures
- Improve your
self confidence by
replacing missing
teeth, knowing that
they won't move or
loosen
There are different
functions that implants
can have as well. They
can replace single
missing teeth, serving
as root support for a
crown. They can serve
as anchors for dentures
to increase stability
and decrease gum
irritation. Implants
can also be used to
support a dental
bridge. Whatever the
case, dental implants
are one of the finest
treatment options
dentistry has to offer.
Dental implants improve
the quality of life.
You can enjoy your
favorite foods, improve
your nutrition, and have
that smile you've always
dreamed of. Regain your
self confidence with
dental implants and give
our office a call today
to set up a free
consultation with Dr.
Saller.

Win
the War Against Cavities:
Ten Tips for Fighting
Cavities
Tip 1: Brush Your Teeth
Daily
It is essential that you
brush your teeth at
least twice a day
preferably with a
toothpaste containing
fluoride. Spend about
2-4 minutes brushing
your teeth, making sure
to reach the teeth in
the back.
Tip 2: Floss Daily
Floss every day to
remove food debris from
in between your teeth.
If food debris is not
removed, this can lead
to cavities.
Tip 3: Use a Mouthwash
Use an antimicrobial
mouthwash to aid in the
prevention of cavities
after brushing or
eating. This will help
to remove plaque from
the teeth.
Tip 4: Eat Healthy
A healthy, well balance
diet can greatly improve
your dental health.
Limiting the amount of
sugary snacks and drinks
will help to prevent
plaque from forming on
the teeth.
Tip 5: Visit the
Dentist for Regular
Cleanings
Keeping up with your
cleanings and check ups
will help to establish
good oral health. The
dentist has the use of
x-rays to pinpoint
problem areas and
possible cavities.
Tip 6: Wash Away the
Sugar
Drink water when eating
something sweet. This
will help to wash away
food particles as well
as get in between the
teeth, having a similar
effect as flossing.
Tip 7: Eat a Piece of
Fruit
Eat a piece of fruit,
especially an apple, to
help clean teeth between
brushings. This makes
for a good snack and
helps fight tooth decay.
Tip 8: Chew Sugarless
Gum
Chewing sugarless gum
helps to increase the
flow of saliva acts as a
natural mouthwash. If
you cannot brush your
teeth after eating,
chewing gum is a good
alternative.
Tip 9: Have Sealants
Placed
Sealant is a protective
coating that is placed
on the back teeth to
protect the teeth from
bacteria and plaque.
This is mostly common in
children but can be
beneficial for adults as
well.
Tip 10: Replace Your
Toothbrush
Replace your ADA
approved toothbrush
every three months or
after getting over the
flu or cold. Your
toothbrush should have
soft and round
bristles.

Scheduling
Appointments
In this day and age it
is easy to let time get
the best of us. That is
why it is imperative
that we keep up with our
work meetings, hair
appointments, medical
appointments, travel
dates, etc. With our
amazing technological
advances there are many
tools that can be used
to schedule out our days
and keep us on task and
on time. But whether it
be through your email,
online calendar, palm or
through an appointment
book, it is important to
schedule your
appointments wisely. Be
sure to have a balanced
schedule with time set
aside for work,
appointments, family and
most importantly,
yourself.
Each month review your
calendar. If you find
that there is a
conflict, be sure to
take care of that
appointment as soon as
possible. We, here at
the Center for Adult
Dentistry, send out
reminder post cards two
weeks before your
appointment. Once you
receive the postcard, be
sure to place it on your
schedule. If you need
to reschedule the
appointment, do so at
least 48 hours in
advance. Our practice
has a waiting list of
patients that would like
to be seen by the doctor
or hygienist and we
would appreciate your
cooperation in this
process.
If you find yourself
missing appointments or
habitually running late,
now is the time to
invest in a tool that
will help to keep you on
track and on
time.
